This amazing hexagonal basalt phenomenon was formed either by geological processes, or the legendary giants who battled along the coastline, but either way the stones and the interactive visitors centre attracts masses of visitors every year from all over the world. The Giant’s Causeway and Bushmills Railway The Giant's Causeway and Bushmills Railway runs through the sand dunes above Runkerry Strand on its journey between Bushmills and The Giant's Causeway, and is a must for train enthusiasts of all ages.
